Ivy Wimpey -funeral expenses and children expenses

Donation protected

3 weeks ago Ivy was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cervical Cancer. She was admitted into the hospital that day and had to step down from her job and leave her little girls in the care of others. Over the past 3 weeks Ivy became more sick because her condition was much worse than we knew -the cancer had spread to her lungs and was overfilling them. She was transferred into the ICU Sunday evening due to not being able to breathe on her own well enough. They put her on a breathing machine to help assist her. Over the next 12 hours she came much more weak and unable to talk. The doctors referred to her situation as she was suffocating from the inside and that the machine was the only thing keeping her alive. On October 26th we made the decision as a family that it was unfair to keep her on the machine, suffering.

Due to the quick decline in her health we didn’t get much time to get anything done for this outcome and Ivy didn’t have health care coverage. All money donated will go directly to her funeral expenses and anything left over will be used to provide for her daughters, Brooklyn (5) and Brynlee (2). Ivy was an amazing mom who put her daughters well being over her own.

This all happened so fast, we weren’t prepared for this.

Thank you for taking the time to read her story and for your consideration of donating.
