We need your Help! Dr. Ivy Hatch Graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic as Valedictorian of her class in August 2017. She started her Chiropractic journey at NT Chiropractic right after graduation. She was making her mark in Denton TX as an up and coming superstar Chiropractor, and is loved by all her patients. Ivy was married in April 2018 to her college sweetheart Eli, and was starting the new and exciting time as any newly weds do and bought a house.  The battle began on December 20th, 2018 with the first of many seizures to come. After this episode, Ivy noticed right leg weakness for the first time. As the weeks passed, everything seemed to be returning to normal until January 5th, 2019. At this point she experienced another seizure and more pronounced weakness. January 9th the weakness progressed to the point she started falling and had to rely on a walker for mobility. The seizures started coming more frequently at this point with a frequency of 2-6 per week. After the first fall she visited the ER where several tests were performed with no abnormal results. After a couple more weeks of progressing symptoms she was admitted to the hospital where more extensive testing was performed with no new results. In February, the weakness progressed even further and began affecting her left leg as well resulting in the need for a wheelchair. For the next few months Ivy saw many different doctors from a variety of specialties and has had multiple MRIs, CTs, blood panels, EEGs, and a spinal tap with no helpful results. In May 2019 she started seeing a DO that utilizes hyperbaric treatments. At this point Ivy has experienced over 40 seizures and is incapable of more than several uncoordinated leg twitches. Though more test results are still pending the doctor has started Ivy with hyperbaric treatments. To date she has had 7 treatments and though unable to move against gravity she was able to perform her first coordinated knee flexion in the tub on May 14th, 2019. Though answers are still needed and there is a long pathway to healing, the family is hopeful that this trial may finally be reaching an end and are hopeful this doctor is on the right path and will help Ivy regain her legs and her life. We are asking anyone to help Ivy with the cost of this treatment. Thank you for all the  love and support given to her already and the continued support in the upcoming times.
