Hello,
My name is Ivan Enriquez and I am an OFFICIAL DNC District-Level Delegate for the 46th Congressional District. As a pledged delegate for Bernie Sanders I will be attending the 2016 Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
However, due to a delegate dropping out I am WAY BEHIND FUNDING. I was just confirmed as a delegate 1.5 weeks away from the convention.
I sorely need to get a flight ticket over to a neighboring city and take the train into Philadelphia.
Each delegate represents tens of thousands of people in the congressional district represented by Loretta Sanchez. This district went for Bernie Sanders and I intend to take that message to the convention. The Democratic Party must reflect the desires of the communities of Santa Ana, Anaheim, Garden Grove, and Orange.

"The policy platform Bernie Sanders is proposing is to begin to set things right. In the 46th CD 2/3rds of the population is Latinx, and in Santa Ana nearly 80% are Latinx. Santa Ana also ranks FOURTH in density behind New York City, San Francisco, and Boston nationally for cities with a population over 300,000. Believe it or not, but Loretta Sanchez represents more people in the 46th than Bernie Sanders does in the State of Vermont, or the population of Wyoming. Given this, when the recession hit the economy people nearly lost or did lose their homes. My family almost did, but I know of too many families that lost everything because of bad loans given by the banks INCLUDING two of Loretta's brothers. That is unaceptable.
I hope that I share this story if chosen as a DNC Delegate for Bernie. I strongly believe that he is the best choice for my community. Please consider any amount when contributing. I will be working hard to make sure that people hear of Bernie's message and vision for America."
