Thank you for taking the time to visit my GoFundMe page. I'm taking part in the Burnley 10k run on the 15th July 2018 and raising money for LightBeam Academy . The Academy aims to provide a well-rounded, holistic and quality Islamic Education to young children aged 5-16 in East Lancashire. Qualified teachers deliver a broad, engaging and comprehensive curriculum which aims to nurture the student's social, educational and spiritual development.
With your support, we can help the next generation of children become confident, secure and happy Muslims. The Academy provides a nurturing and supportive environment which hopes to produce our future Muslim Leaders.

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The good deeds that will reach a believer after his death are: knowledge which he learned and then spread; a righteous son whom he leaves behind; a copy of the Qur’an that he leaves as a legacy; a mosque that he built; a house that he built for wayfarers; a canal that he dug; or charity that he gave during his lifetime when he was in good health. These deeds will reach him after his death.”
