Help Isaiah Lamb's Independence

IT TAKES A VILLAGE....

I had the pleasure of meeting the Lamb family recently and fell in love! They have an 8 year old and 5 year old Quadruplets. Isaiah has cerebral palsy but as he is growing older, is able to ambulate himself with a walker and a wheelchair. Isaiah has THE best attitude! He is a fun-loving, upbeat and happy little guy. I am setting up this campaign in hopes that we can come together as a community and help his family make his home more accessible for him. This is their story as told by his Mom....

"We purchased our home (built in 1800) in 2006. Gabriel was born in 2008 and the quadruplets were born in 2011 at 29 weeks gestation. They spent between 5 weeks and 90 days in the NICU at Yale-New Haven Hospital. While there, Isaiah was diagnosed with Periventricular Leukomalacia (PVL), a cyst on the brain due to prematurity. This led to a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy shortly before the quads turned 3. As Isaiah gets older and is able to ambulate himself using his walker and wheelchair, we are finding that the lack of accessibility in our house is the only thing prohibiting his independence. Isaiah is hardworking and persistent and always faces challenges head on.

All donations to The Isaiah Lamb Fund will be used to improve the accessibility of our home, including an accessible bedroom and bathroom for Isaiah, and to purchase an accessible vehicle."
