Hola, mi nombre es Isabella y necesito de tu ayuda para poder caminar.

Mi hermano gemelo y yo nacimos 10 semanas antes de la fecha prevista. El médico me diagnosticó hipoxia perinatal y dijo que los primeros años son los más importantes, por lo que debo darme prisa!

Quiero ser capaz de caminar como lo hace mi hermano, por eso mi familia está intentando conseguir lo siguiente para mi:

1.  Bipedestador que me ayude a caminar = 1.500 £  
2.  Sesiones de terapia para mejorar mis habilidades motoras (3 meses) 2.000 £  
3.  Silla pélvica para corregir mi columna = 500 £
4.  Zapatos DAFOs  para fijar mis pies = 500 £ 

Mi historia comienza así...

Estuve en  el hospital durante 1 mes antes de irme a casa, nuestra familia era muy feliz y todo fue perfecto. Pero después de algunos meses algo iba mal, porque para mi hermano era fácil coger el biberón, empezar a gatear…, y yo no podía hacerlo por mí misma con claras dificultades para moverme, sentarme además de deficiencias auditivas y visuales. Después de muchos análisis y visitas a diferentes médicos, me diagnosticaron parálisis cerebral y desde entonces ha cambiado mi vida. En lugar de disfrutar mis días jugando con mi hermano tengo que ir a fisioterapia  (que pueden ser sesiones ser muy dolorosas y estresantes) y terapia de lenguaje todos los días. Mis padres me compraron unas hermosas gafas, imagínenme a mí (una niña de un año), honestamente... me las quito cada vez que puedo.

¿Por qué necesito Tu ayuda?
Para reducir el riesgo de cirugías dolorosas en el futuro!

Soy Venezolana, me encanta vivir aquí con toda mi familia. Mi mamá es  farmacéutica y ella está luchando día a día para darme toda la atención médica y los medicamentos que necesito en este momento, pero NO podemos acceder a ellos a raíz de la crisis humanitaria que esta atravesando Venezuela .

Mis médicos dijeron que los primeros años de mi vida son cruciales para mi desarrollo y determinará mi futuro y calidad de vida,  por  esto  decidimos ir a España por una estancia de tres meses, a recibir el tratamiento que desesperadamente necesito para acelerar mi desarrollo físico y mental, y reducir la deformación de mi cuerpo, lo que significara evitar cirugías largas y dolorosas.

Acompáñame  en mis "primeros pasos”

Me siento bendecida por tener una familia valiente que está haciendo todo lo que pueden para ayudarme a caminar, pero ahora te necesito a ti!

Mis tios y amigos en Londres van a correr una carrera de 5Km para ayudarme con el tratamiento médico .

Hi, my name is Isabella and I need your help to be able to walk.  

My twin brother and I were born 10 weeks before the expected date. The doctor diagnosed me with Hypoxic Perinatal and he said these first years are the most crucial ones, so I must hurry up!

I want to be able to walk like my brother does, for that my family is chasing 4 main goals:
1.     Standing Frame to help me walking = £1.500
2.     Therapy sessions to improve my motor skills (3 months) £2.000
3.     Pelvic Chair to correct my spine = £500
4.     DAFOs shoes to fix my feet = £500 

My story starts like this…

After birth, had to stay at the hospital for 1 month, our family was so happy to have us both and everything was perfect. But after a couple of months some strange things started to happen, for my brother it was easy to catch his baby’s bottle and I could not do it by myself; later he crawled and still by this time I am not able to.

After a lot of analysis and visits to different doctors, I was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and since that day my life changed: Instead of enjoying my days playing with my brother I have to go to speech and physical therapy sessions every day (these can be quite painful and stressful sometimes). 

Why do I need your help?
Please help me reduce possible future painful surgeries!

I was born in Venezuela and  love living here with all my family.  My mum is a pharmacist and she is fighting day by day to give me all the medical attention and medicines that I need right now, but we can't get them due to Venezuelan humanitarian crisis .
The doctors said the first years of my life are crucial for my development and it will determine my future quality of life so this is why we decided to move to Spain for a three month stay, to give me the treatment that I desperately need to speed up my physical and mental development, reducing this way future body deformation, which will mean avoid long and painful surgeries.

I feel blessed to have a brave family who is doing all the things that they can to help me walk, but now I need you!
