Is It Worth It? - Short Film
I'm a second year student at the University of York, studying Film and Television Production.
A month ago, I finished filming my very first short film, written, directed and produced by myself.
A story about my life, a question which was in my mind for so long, 'Is It Worth It?'.
I remember, I was 15 when I had to decide, film or latin dancing. At that time, I chose latin dancing. I was competing for many years, tried to do my best and work harder all the time. My dance partner and I put so much effort, energy, time and money to latin dancing and I have to say, I was never satisfied with my dance, even if I worked so hard. I couldn't reach what I want which made me unhappy, then I realised I'm more into filming and actually that's what I want to study and do in my life. I gave up with dancing and went to study Film and Television Production to the University of York. Honestly, that was my best decision in my life and now thanks to university, I had a chance to make a film about My story. This time, I didn't have to choose, I had to put them together, direct and dance!! Something, I have never expected in my life. My dream came true!
It was really hard to be the director, producer, actress and a dancer at the same time but I managed and it wouldn't have happened without my amazing crew and all the people who helped me!!
During my film shoot, 24 people were working on my film and I can't tell how much I appreciate all the hard work and energy what these people put in my film. It's unbelievable, I'm so thankful!!
It was the most amazing thing I have ever done in my life but I have to say, unfortunately these three days of filming cost me a lot of money, more than I expected! (All the food for the crew and cast, props, printing and transportation expenses.)

Masod eves egyetemista vagyok es Film es Televizio gyartast tanulok a University of York-on. Egy honappal ezelott fejeztem be, eletem elso kisfilmjet, mely masodeves vizsga filmem is egyben, cime 'Is It Worth It'. Tulajdonkeppen ez a 8 perces kisfilm, eletem egy nagyon fontos szakaszarol szol, mikor el kellett dontenem, hogy a tancot vagy a filmezest valasztom, illetve arrol, hogy mennyire nehez a versenytanc vilaga. A kisfilm bemutatja mennyire bizonytalan voltam a dontes meghozatalaban, megeri-e vagy nem vegig vinni az egesz tanc karriert.
Hihetetlen munka volt mindezt letrehozni! Egyszerre voltam rendezo, producer, szinesz es tancos. Rendkivul nehez volt, de ugyanakkor hatalmas orommel toltott el, hogy most valami olyat csinalok, amire mindig is vagytam es most kivetelesen nem kell valasztanom a ketto kozott, hiszen egyszerre csinalom a kettot amit a legjobban szeretek. Egy almom valt valora!
Hatalmas koszonettel tartozom mind a 24 embernek aki dolgozott a filmemen es a kitarto, szorgalmas es mindent beleado stabnak akik nelkul nem johetett volna letre ez az egesz. Koszonettel tartozom az egyetemnek, hogy megadta a lehetoseget, tudast es az osszes technikai eszkozt a film lebonyolitasahoz, illetve termeszetesen csaladomnak es baratoknak akik mindenben tamogattak.
A harom napos filmforgatas koltsegei felulmultak a tervezett koltsegvetest. A stab es szineszek etetese, itatasa, filmhez valo kellekek, nyomtatas, illetve utazasi koltsegek tulszarnyaltak a keretet, ezert fordulok most ezen az oldalon keresztul hozzatok!
Minden adomany segit, mar az is, ha csak megosztod Facebookon!! Nagyon halas vagyok mindenkinek aki tud segiteni, koszonom szepen!
Ugy erzem nem tudom elegszer megkoszonni mindenkinek aki segitett es segit a filmem letrejotteben. Alig varom hogy veglegesen kesz legyek a filmvagassal es tovabb lephessek egy ujabb filmem elkeszitesehez.
Szoval, ez a kisfilmem meg csak a kezdet... :)
