Insulin Pump/Mechanical pancreas
Donation protected
You could say I'm was a late bloomer. I was diagnosed with type one diabetes when I turned 17. For 5 years I've been constantly checking my glucose levels when I wake up, after I eat, before I go to sleep, when I don't feel well, and sometimes in the middle of the night.
Giving myself a shot in the stomach every morning before work and a shot after almost every meal. The constant purchasing of medical supplies such as the needle tops for my insulin pens, the 1$ PER TESTING STRIP, and syringes.
Not to mention all the other things that come with having this disease.
I'm looking for some support from anyone who is willing to help out with my co pay of getting a insulin pump or a mechanical pancreas. I appreciate any donations that I receive. Anything helps. Thank you to everyone who has read my story. ❤️
