Insulin pump for Tori
Donation protected
I have been Type 1 Diabetic for 12 years. I’ve experienced diabetes with insulin shots, pens, and pumps. When I turned 19 I lost my insurance, which was the hardest time of my life. I eventually got insurance again, thank god. But, the insurance I have now would leave me paying $2,000 for a new insulin pump. (My last pump, t:flex, got discontinued). I’m on insulin shots now. But, I find that my body does not respond the same as it did with my pump. And my skin is getting extremely “tired”. The pump helped me give spots a break. I HATE asking for help, but I just do not make enough to afford all of my medical expenses. I am making tie dye shirts to try and help raise the money, also. Any amount would help. I’d appreciate it very much.
