Hanson Community Basketball Court

My name is Kim Moore and I have been a resident of Hanson for the past 15 years, as well as a mom to two boys who love playing basketball. I received approval from the Parks & Fields committee to update the existing area that has been used for many years into a basketball court at Boteri Field in the fenced in area behind the skate park.
Although approval was granted, all costs are being raised through fundraising to sealcoat the court, line the court, and install basketball hoops.
Boteri is centrally located in the center of town for kids to walk/bike. I believe this will get kids (and adults) outdoors to come together with friends to play, get exercise, and have fun. If you drive through other towns, you may see their courts are always filled with kids and adults playing basketball.
Please join me in bringing together our community and supporting everyone’s ability to get outside and play some basketball. Any contribution is greatly appreciated, even if it’s as simple as sharing the link to this page to get the word out.
