Following the overwhelming success of our first 2 projects, we are reaching out to the community to help us raise funds for Inspired! Part 3

There is an incredible amount of talent in the young musicians of Berwick-Upon-Tweed! This Fundraiser is to allow you, the members of our community to participate in raising money for another exciting project that will bring a tremendous amount of fulfilment to young people who wish to write, perform and promote their music. The first 2 projects have had such an impact on everyone it has been an absolute no-brainer to decide to run it again. This time the project will last for 2 years and will build on the 2 previous projects by creating a thriving and dynamic musical community for all young people in the area.

We will be giving  a large number of young singer/songwriters and other young musicians in the Berwick area the opportunity to work with leading professional musicians and music industry people to do all this:
Write, arrange, and produce their own songs under the guidance of producers Iain Petrie and Electric Penelope Have their songs released on a fully produced and mastered CD, Make a music video, perform at local events, and do a full mainstage performance at the Maltings Theatre in Berwick. Not only that. There will be seminars from leading figures in the music industry covering law, marketing, branding and promotion. There will be vocal coaching, group work, press, radio and internet coverage.

As has been demonstrated already this inspirational course is of great benefit to the participants, and be a beacon of positivity to the whole community. There is a real lack of resources for young musicians in the area. This project will go some way to addressing this need.
The project is scheduled to run from December 2017 to January 2020 Our aim is to raise half the funds locally. We already have significant sponsorship from a number of prominent local organisations and donors. The rest will come from Arts Council England.
