Insight Meditation Silent Retreat

Donation protected
Dear Friends,

Prescott Insight Meditation is raising funds for a retreat May 5-11, 2018. The retreat will be held at Juniper Well Ranch near Prescott, Arizona.

This retreat will be an opportunity to practice an embodied quality of presence in silence throughout the day — in sitting and walking meditation. In these silences we can penetrate our deepest wisdom and activate a natural compassion for ourselves and the world. The retreat is designed for beginners and experienced practitioners alike. Learn more about the retreat here: www.prescottinsightmeditation.org/the-path-of-awareness-2018

There is no fee for this retreat. The teachings of the Buddha have been sustained by the ancient tradition of dana, a Pali word meaning “generosity”. We follow the 2,600 year old tradition of offering the Dharma freely so that the teachings are available to everyone interested regardless of financial means. Juniper Well Ranch, in turn, will offer their facility freely to us so that the Buddha’s teaching may continue to be available to all. Additionally, Brian Lesage receives no compensation and will be offering his teachings freely.  In the act of giving, we develop our ability to let go, cultivate a spirit of caring, and honor our inter-connectedness.

Thus, we are asking for donations to cover the costs of this retreat. Happily, we have already received a grant of $6000 to cover the cost of food for all retreatants. Additonal needs include:

A cook to prepare meals
Dana for Juniper Well Ranch and Brian Lesage to support them in continuing to offer such gifts.

All donations are welcome. A big thank you for your contibutions to make this retreat available to all. May all beings benefit!
