We are Team Phoenix of the Highland Academy Real World Design Challenge Team (RWDC). RWDC is a program that works towards inspiring students to pursue a career in STEM by challenging them to create and engineer real solutions for the real world. For the 7th time in a row, our school has come out on top and is the state champion for this year. We have been invited to compete with teams across the nation and some regions of China this April in Washington DC.
This year, we have been tasked to design an unmanned aerial system (UAS) that can outperform two of the best agricultural UAS that are readily available to the public. However, we need your help to pay for our registration fee in order to cover our stay, food and travel to DC on April 22nd.
With your support, we will give our best in national competition and show the world what Alaska's youth has to offer. We appreciate any help given to us and of course, thanks again for reading!
