"Cherishing The Innocent Children's Jonestown Memorial Wall Will Be Unveiled"

Thank you  For Visiting Our Site. My Name Is Pastor Jynona Norwood And I Kidnap/rescued My Son To Save His Life. God Spared Both Of Our Lives Through Revelation Knowledge. Although, I Was Never A Member Of Jim Jones Organization, Our Family Lost The Oldest, The Youngest And The Most Loved Ones At Jones Town, 27 Persons Including My Beloved Mother. 17 children under 18 perished in Guyana by a heinous and evil man.

Jonestown Topped The Chart Of Horrific Crimes Inflicted On Children. This New And Higher Level Of Atrocity Demanded That We Become Parental Ambassadors For All Children Promoting Standards That Will Never Allow A Jonestown Massacre Of Children To Never Happen Again.

In 2011, Jim Jones Was Honored By His Family & Hierarchy On The Final, Sacred Resting Place Of Mostly Children On Their Mass Grave Site In Oakland. The Jewish Community Would Never Allow Hitler To Be Honored On The Holocaust Memorial.

“Beauty For Ashes” Is Our Response To This Horrible Double Tragedy. We Have Replaced The Sackcloth Of Sadness With “The 305 Innocent Children’s Memorial” Listing, Each Child’s Name, The Victims & Congressman Leo Ryan And His UPI News Crew Who Perished In This Incredible Act Of Violence.

THE WALL IS PAID FOR BUT YOU CAN STILL DONATE TO HELP:  You Can Make A Donation or Sponsor A Full Page AD For Your Business or Family In Our 40th Anniversary Souvenir Book To Help  Us Rent A Generator, Chairs, Canopy And Chairs; You Can Also Support Transportation & Hotel For The Children & Seniors Who Desire To  Attend.  The Historic, Long Awaited Memorial Will Be Unveiled On November 18, 2018, 11:00 AM In Oakland, California, 6450 Camden Street.

President Bill Clinton: “My prayers are with everyone gathered...I know that your service will be an inspiring memorial to those who lost their lives so senselessly at Jonestown.”

Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi: “Cherishing the Children Memorial Wall will provide a place of comfort and solace to the children’s relatives and loved ones as well as to those who wish to honor the memory of Congressman Leo Ryan and all those who lost their lives. ”

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger: “My special gratitude goes to Dr., Jynona Norwood for her remarkable compassion and determination to gather the funds and resources needed for your memorial.”

Mayor James T. Butts: I commend Dr. Jynona Norwood and Cherishing the Children for their tremendous efforts in remembering the men, women and children who lost their lives in Jonestown, Guyana.

Dr. Maya Angelou “I heartily support the idea of a tributary wall dedicated to the spirits of those who were lost. I will be pleased to write a dedication to be inscribed on an architecture built for those purposes.”

Maxine Walters. We must never forget that tragic event. For those of us who were around at that time, the memorial will serve as a constant reminder that while the pain of losing a loved one never fades, it must also arouse in us the desire to do good each day of our lives.

Congresswoman Barbara Lee: “I support your efforts... Again, thank you for all of the work you are doing to create this Memorial.”

Civil Rights Leader Dick Gregory: “I feel very privileged and indeed honored to praise Dr. Norwood and the staff for their tireless efforts of making the dream of the Memorial Wall a reality for all.”

Mayor Libby Schaaf: “On behalf of the City of Oakland, I would like to extend my best wishes to the Official Jonestown Memorial Services and... keeping the memories of the victims alive.”

Senator Dianne Feinstein “I am proud to recognize all the staff and volunteers of the Guyana Tribute Foundation. Your work will help ensure that we will never forget the victims of Jim Jones. You are in my thoughts and prayers.”

Mayor Elihu M. Harris “I support the construction of the Jonestown Memorial Wall to commemorate the Jonestown tragedy. This is an important issue and I will help in every way to make the memorial Wall a lasting reminder so that these men, women, and children have not perished in vain.”
