injustice to loyal community worker

I am a hard working and dedicated single mum who has served the community for many years. I have been employed at my work place for 5 years and ran the majority of the organisation and coordinated over 130 families and clients part time with ease and joy.

Every year I have received excellent reviews and this year the company merged with another "it was taken over". Over the past nine months the company let all staff go without replacing them and I found my self working multiple roles. I received no supports and experienced continuous bullying and harassment. The systems did not serve the sector and any attempt to employ replacements resulted with them leaving in matter of weeks. I was cursed at shouted in an aggressive manner daily . I was also receiving  threats via phone and in person. I addressed management who supported this and amplified the matters overs time.

over time and continuous bullying in the work environment coupled with no support and poor management I find my self needing to heal from Anxiety and depression. My GP has been giving counselling but this has ceased due to my claim for  work cover being rejected on the ground management done reasonable management and that my claim was based on my interpretation.

My boss would place post it notes with FXXX OFF on my desk in capital letters. I had calls stating god Fxxxing Help you and you are a CUNT. I was allocated a return to work support officer who was to work in collaboration with myself and my GP only to find that he was the one who wrote on the organisations response against my claim making many unsupported statements and to say the least insulting opinions that was not supported in evidence.

I provided over 25 pieces of evidence in my first submit ion and additional in my response. I am now appealing with more again in volume.

I was informed that 20 working days plus additional 5 at max was the frame work for me to receive  a response. from my GP sending application it was 40 working days, accounting to over eight weeks. I then had to respond to my support return to work support persons claims after being left with no income over eight weeks. This then had taken me to 10 weeks and then received unsupported even though it contained that I had received a work injury.

I am about to place an appeal with additional supports and I have been informed that it can take up to 20 business days for a final decision.

During the process management have laughed at threats against me.  I have received tormenting and intimating calls from the organisation asking irrelevant questions even though stating they were in full knowledge of my claim and knowing I was allocated a return to work personal. This continued and they stated that they personally knew my allocated support  person and worked very closely with them in the same room. They continued that they knew about my case of bullying and harassment.

I was harassed and bullied via phone on my daughters birthday and I begged them to stop.

I was advised by industrial relations that I was to receive an official document declining my claim and all I received was a 30 second phone call. After following up I became aware the email the following week 6 days later was a result of the local MP office calling on my behalf; I had contacted them.

I could write pages how the organisation was supportive and bullying.

I am out of resources and find my self requesting financial support so that I can receive treatment. Also if I approach government support I will not receive work cover for recovery. I have full support from my child who has unfortunately been witness to this bullying and harassment after hours. I want to remain the string role model and deliver my self my rights. The support I request is for the 20 days after I lodge my appeal on Monday 08th October. I am in debt from loans and  I have exhausted selling items and personal loans.

This is a matter of social justice and my rights to human treatment, it is setting an example to the next generation and supporting the clients and families in the service who are the most vulnerable in the community population.

I plead a few weeks support and I know this is the right thing to do. My needs are urgent

I have every intention of healing and returning to serving the community on a larger scale once healed.
