"Adam Collins,  informative page - This page has been developed to inform people of facts around Adam's accident, condition and prognosis. It has been done in good faith by his family and friends to help people understand the current situation in hope that people can use this as an informative tool whilst the family spends precious time with their beloved Adam. 



Adam Collins - Born March 31st 1969, son of Roger and Helen, brother to Tania, father to Rachel, Casey and Jack, loved and friend to all he knew, natural enemy of the buffalo and Jew fish. 


On September 7th 2019 Adam crashed his bike on the way to East Arm boat ramp. This caused severe injuries consisting of many broken bones but most importantly severe traumatic brain injury. Adam has fought for 5 weeks in the Royal Darwin Hospital undergoing multiple surgeries and extensive testing. The result of these surgeries and tests by a team of doctors and surgeons have shown a definitive conclusion that Adam's long term prognosis is extremely poor, he will never again be able to live a meaningful life or engage in simple tasks such as walking and talking . 


Adam is calling last drinks at the Collins bar!! We all know he would love to hang around but not like this. As you could appreciate this is a very hard time for the family and all the people that have spent time with Adam. This page is to help people understand the situation and remember the good times they had with Adam so please share your story or photos for all to see.
