Indoor Cycling Co-op in New Concord

Help us keep indoor cycling fitness classes in New Concord! For the past 12 years, the Muskingum Recreation Center (MRC), and formerly Genesis Health and Fitness Center, held exercise classes in New Concord as an outreach program. Recently, these satalite classes have ended. But those who participated in the classes are committed to continue. They realized that the classes are about even more than fitness. Friendships and a sense of community have developed in these classes. Corny, but true, it's rural Amercia at its best and what makes living in a small town great.
With the desire and need to continue to promote wellenss and sense of hometown community, the "spin cycling co-op" was formed.
Funds raised from this campaign will be used to purchase the old exercise bikes from the MRC to allow the co-op to continue to hold these community cycling classes in New Concord. Money raised will also offset associated costs, such as insurance and bike maintance/replacement materials.
Any one will be welcome to attend the classes; participation will not be limited to those who donate to the campaign. A punch card system at $5/class will be used. For more information about the time and location of the classes, please send a message below.
