Incorrigibles

Donation protected
Incorrigibles is a non-profit transmedia project that investigates the history of girls in youth prisons to uncover the present day impact of these institutions.

This video helps explain the work we have done so far.
For more information, please visit incorrigibles.org!

We need your help now to fund our documentary film and web platform starting with the stories of girls from The New York State Training School for Girls (1904-1974) incuding legendary singer Ella Fitzgerald.  A donation of any size, no matter how small, will help us reach our goal!

Your gracious donations already allowed us to match a grant of $5,000 from the National Endowment for the Humanities! We are continuing our campaign to support the creation of our short film and upcoming public events.

*If you would like to make a tax deductible donation through our fiscal sponsor, New York Foundation for the Arts, please visit the following website: https://www.nyfa.org/fstransaction/pay/6ee76ae0-1cf8-4b3c-906c-ca5f7b0d64b3

For generous donations of the amounts listed, we are thanking our contributors with some T-Shirts and Totes! Images are shown below:
