On June 21, 2018 Ron Thring, loving husband of Karen and father to Ryan, Caitlin, and Allison, passed away from pancreatic cancer. Karen and the kids are absolutely devastated, especially since Ron was only diagnosed a little more than a week prior to his death. He had been dealing with some health issues over the last several years but nothing that would have ever prepared them for this!!! They are heartbroken and in complete shock.
Ron’s passing is obviously overwhelming for Karen not only emotionally but also financially as well. Ron had a small life insurance policy, but without his income she is now faced with being the sole provider for the family. Also, as if processing the sudden loss of Ron isn’t difficult enough, the lease on their house is up, and she and the kids have to move at the end of July. As you can imagine, she is not going to be able to go back to work over the next couple of months as she and kids deal with their grief and figure out their living situation without Ron.
We are setting up this page to help our dear friend Karen and the kids as they cope with their tragic loss. Any funds donated can help her with their immediate expenses as well as any future financial needs.
