In Memory of Vanessa Procopio

Alfonso Procopio, a dedicated Charleston Firefighter and member of the Army National Guard, and his wife, Kaitlyn, were due to welcome their baby daughter this month. Below is a recollection of the family's experience.
"Saturday afternoon, Kaitlyn wasn't feeling the usual amount of movement from our daughter. She decided to go to the hospital as a precaution, and after four attempts, MUSC was unable to find a heart beat. At that point nothing more could be done except bring her into the world. Labor was induced and she was delivered 12 hours later at 0402. Vanessa Ivy Procopio was a perfect looking baby girl at 38 weeks, 6.5 lbs with hazel eyes and black hair. She was due in just over a week."
Medical bills and costs associated with the funeral are beginning to come in, and are one more challenge to helping the Procopio family find closure. Please help support them in any way you can.
