In memory of Rose Caggiano

Donation protected
In loving memory of Rose Espina-Caggiano, loving wife of Kevin and mother of Michael, Angela and Jason. She left us unexpectedly and her family is absolutely heartbroken.  The world was a better place with her in it. She was an amazing wife and mother who devoted her life to her family and community. She was always there to lend a hand to anyone in need. All donations will go toward her children's education.

Her youngest son, Jason, wrote and read this at the wake today (Sunday, January 27th) and he'd like to share it with all of you:

In the beloved Shakespeare classic play, Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare taught us that, "A rose by any other name is as sweet". In other words, a person or thing is special because of what it is, not what it's called. And regardless of it's name, it's quite clear that a rose is pretty unique. Just seeing one conjures up images of love, beauty and hope. That's exactly what I saw in my mother. I always loved her name. I'm so glad that my sister, Angela Rose, shares this name with her because I see all of her and more in Angela. One thing I want to say is that this isn't just my loss. This is our loss. By "our" I mean every single person she ever made a positive impact on, which is quite a few people. I always envied that about her. How social she was. She could walk into a room full of people she'd never met and become friends instantly. Another beautiful thing about the rose is that even after it's cycle comes to an end and it perishes, it's beauty lives on. Just as beautiful as when it flourished. I'm gonna miss her hugs, the way she'd tell me she loved me everyday, her laugh, how excited she was to teach me how to drive and be at my wedding and help raise my kids. I always told her that when I was grown, I'd buy her a house and name my first daughter after her. There's so much more I can say but I'll wrap it up. I wanna thank everyone that is helping me and my family  through this. I wanna thank everyone that's ever been affected by her for making her happy. And special thanks to Niall Monahan and Elijah Samuelson, for making sure I'm wasn't alone, to Jeanie McHale and Julie Freebern for comforting us, and everyone else, you know who you are, for everything. We couldn't get through this tragedy without you guys. Rest In Peace to my mother, Rose Blanch Agnes Garcia Espina-Caggiano. Thank you for 56 years of happiness and joy and 15 years spent with me. For teaching me how to be human. I love you and I always will and I know you're watching over me.
