In Memory of Miriam- Family Fund.

On Sunday, August 4, our worst nightmare became a reality. What was to be a typical weekend for Miriam Gonzalez, a busy mother of three, ended up being her final one. Miriam had a headache that started on Friday, but she pushed forward because that’s what moms do. On Sunday, she would have a headache so severe that she lost her sight and began to have seizures. What none of us knew was that a major brain aneurysm was occurring. Although Miriam was a strong fighter, she took her final breath on Monday, August 5, surrounded by her loving family.

Miriam fought all obstacles with love and compassion. Above all else, she loved God and her family. She leaves behind her loving life partner, Martin and three beautiful young children; Kindle (16), Devin (14) and Abigail (4). Her mother and sister also survive her. Miriam’s family was her strength! She dedicated her life to helping and caring for others and was a wonderful foster mother to several children throughout the years. She loved her community and her culture and poured her love into everyone she met.





Miriam  was a selfless person and made a difference in the lives of so many in our community. Even after death, she continues to live on through organ donation.

The incident was something that none of us anticipated. Though there is a lot of emotional distress at this moment, we realize that reality hits and the family will have to figure out ways to make things happen. There will be foreseeable and unforeseeable matters that will arise in the lives of Martin, Kindle, Devin, and Abigail. All money donated is intended to help them in a way their superwoman of a mother would have done and wanted. Any monetary donation is greatly appreciated!
