In Memory of Gaynell Janise

Nearly a year ago our mom survived a large ordeal with two strokes, and was in a nursing home rehab for physical therapy.  She made great strides and was on her way to walking with assistance when she became ill.
Our mother passed away June 4, 2017 at the hospital after fighting a very painful infection and having surgery to remove large amounts of infection.
Just a month ago, our father, her husband survived cardiac arrest and is currently unable to work. 

We recently had a garage sale before all of this to pay for my dad's expenses and to fix their house but the funds aren't enough to cover my mom's burial.  Her parents purchased life insurance policies when she was a baby but they are no longer active to use.  

I am setting up this memorial on behalf of our mother and father.  The funds raised here with help with funeral and medical expenses, as well as everyday expenses to make our father as comfortable in this heartbreak as possible.

Our mom loved cooking, sewing, and especially reading about places about traveling and history.  She always supported humanitarian and animal rights, and was very passionate about helping others before herself.
