In Memory of Corey Wampler

Donation protected
It is with great sadness we are making this GoFundMe page on behalf of Jayme, Corey and their unborn daughter, Catherine.

On January 20th, 2017, the world lost a Gentle Giant. Corey Wampler passed away in a freak accident at his home doing what he loved best, working on cars.

His passion for cars was a driving force in his life from a young age. His first job at the age of 14 was to save up so that he could buy a car the second he got his driver’s license. He went to NTI to become a mechanic and worked for Skip Barber Racing for several years. When he decided to settle down, he came home, worked long hours and met Jayme, the girl of his dreams.

Jayme and Corey bought a house last year, they made plans and dreamt of their life together. They became newlyweds on September 3rd, 2016 and started down their path to "happily ever after". After finding out they were about to be parents, Corey’s dream of having a little girl came true. They chose the name Catherine for their unborn daughter and Corey couldn’t wait to be a father.

Corey brought light, life and laughter to everyone who crossed his path. He reached the hearts of every person he encountered and impressed them with his work ethic, wonderful sense of humor, and kindness. He was definitely a gentle giant.

Corey’s wish was to be an organ donor. After passing, Corey was able to help several people in the Berkshire community and many others nationwide.

With the help of our community and the racing community that Corey was so passionate about, I am sure that we will be able to help ease the financial burden on Jayme during this time of life changing sadness.

"Corey, we know you will be watching over Jayme and your daughter and that Catherine will know the love her father had for her."

We thank you all so much for the outpourings of support and offers to help. Your kind words and sweet remembrances of Corey have been a great comfort to his family.

In Corey's honor, we will do what Corey was doing... taking care of his wife and daughter.

With this GoFundMe, the money will be used to off-set funeral expenses, to help Jayme with the house Corey leaves behind, and to care for their unborn daughter.
