In Memory of Adele Louise Walton

Donation protected
This is for the most exceptional person I have ever known - Adele Louise Walton (Garlick). Adele passed away on the 25th October 2016 after an extended fight against cancer. She was 41. At the request of her family, this GoFund me page has been established to help her family at the time of their greatest need.

Murray was Adele's primary carer since her initial diagnosis four years ago. Murray is self-employed and spent every available moment caring for Adele, Jake and Liv: physically, emotionally and financially - working only when he could. During the last six months that has meant not working at all.

Know that the family is surrounded by a great deal of love, and many people have asked how they can help. This GoFund me page is the most practical support they need right now. So we need your help.

Maybe Adele cared for your child in childcare, maybe you went to school with her, maybe she taught your child to write their name, maybe she attended youth group with you, maybe you met her at basketball or ballet, maybe it was in Perth, Canberra, Woolongong or maybe she is a stranger to you, but loved by someone else in your world . Whatever your connection to reading my words, please consider donating whatever you can to help the Walton family at this, their greatest time of need.

I know she would have done the same for you.

About Adele

Perhaps you were lucky enough to know Adele. Perhaps you heard her name spoken by others who knew her and you too got the sense that she was exceptional. Perhaps you do not know of her at all - please allow me to try to provide some insight into who she was and what drove her.

She was a loving wife to Murray, devoted mother to Jacob and Olivia and human mother to Jaz the dog. She was a much loved daughter of Aleta and Richard, sister to Nicole and Vanessa, sister in law to Peter and Brad and the fun aunt to Tyrone and Rhys, Charlee and Ruby. She was equally as loved as the daughter in law of Ray and Margaret, sister in law of Garren and Cassia, Stephen and Renee and Luke and Madeleine. She was also the joyful aunt of Cooper, and Ella and Mia and loved by cousins, aunts, uncles and extended families.

She was a friend, mentor, colleague, inspiration (she hated being called that!) and teacher to many across the world. She gave her all to every experience and strongly believed in blessing those in need. She loved life, dress up days, Turkish Delight, pink and red, and was passionate about early childhood education. She personified joy and to me, she was and will forever be, my very exceptional friend.

Thank you. Xxx
