In LovingMemory of Borna Kurjakovic

On July 15, 2017 8-year old Borna Kurjakovic lost his life in a car accident in Croatia while visiting family on vacation. This beautiful little boy was the youngest child to Kresimir and Ana Maria Kurjakovic and little brother to Mika. He loved playing soccer and being with his dad at the soccer fields. So many people have come forward sharing wonderful memories of either having children play with him on a team or of playing with him at the fields. Borna's parents had just returned to the United States from Croatia so that his dad could return to work. Borna and Mika stayed behind to visit with family a little bit longer during their summer break from school.
We have started this fund to help this family with the monumental expenses of having to get last minute plane tickets for both parents to travel back to Croatia and the expenses that go along with a tragedy such as this.
This family is loved in the Houston soccer community and Borna will forever be in our hearts. We all need to come together to be the strength this family needs in this time of utter sorrow and unimaginable grief.
