“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future” (Proverbs 31:25)

Those of you that were blessed enough to meet Kelli knew what an amazing person she was.  But you probably were not aware of the depth of her struggles; that is just the way she was...she was not one to let it be known.  Kelli’s focus was to make sure that YOU were ok.  Now it is our turn to make everything ok for Kelli’s loved ones and their desire to complete the one final item in her honor.  This fund is not only started for Kelli but for her AMAZING husband Corey and loving family.

When Corey met Kelli it was love at first sight.  Even when Kelli received the news that she had lung cancer, Corey was going to see it through, marrying Kelli on July 8, 2014.  As Kelli endured the battle through all the ER visits, countless nights in the hospital, Corey and her family never left her side.  Their dedication to each other was the purest example of the vows they shared, what unconditional love looks like.

Kelli passed away on May 31, 2019 surrounded by her family.  Though the family understood that this was a time that allowed Kelli to be at rest, it left a void in the hearts of Corey, the family and untold numbers of friends.  Many of Corey and Kelli’s friends have asked what they can do, feeling compelled to do something to honor this beloved life.  The doctor and hospital bills have mounted plus the added costs of funeral expenses have left a remaining show of a love, a headstone for Kelli, not yet fulfilled.  We would like to raise the money to lift this burden from Corey and the family.

If you knew Kelli, you are keenly aware of the lives she touched.  Consider donating what your heart directs on behalf of Kelli Mays Bentley and her impact on your life and help Corey fulfill this one remaining item for her lasting memorial.

“She made broken look beautiful, and strong look invincible.  She walked with the universe on her shoulders, and made it look like a pair of wings.”
