In loving Memory of Dallas Som

Hi everyone. My name is Laureen and I am Dallas sister in law. Dallas Tai Som was well loved by everyone he met. If you asked anyone to describe him in one word, it would be goofy. He was a little kid stuck in a grown man’s body and always did whatever it took to make people laugh even if it made him look a little silly. Tragically on the night of October 10, 2017, in Long Beach, he along with his friend, lost their lives during a quick trip to the liquor store when a man opened fired at them. He left behind his parents, his brothers, cousins, nieces and nephews, and most importantly his girlfriend who is five months pregnant with their first child. He would have been the greatest father to her and it’s hard knowing that he won’t ever get to meet her. Today, we are asking for any donations, big or small, to not only cover funeral costs, the 7 day ceremony (Asian culture), food expenses and other neccesities but to also help with expenses that comes along with expecting a child.
