In Loving Memory of Bobby Carstens

For those who know Bobby you know there was always laughter that followed. He had a contagious laugh and a warm heart- a family man who worked hard and did anything for his wife and kids. He loved his family so much he would cry talking about his wife and kids and how proud of them he was. He was a great husband, father, friend, and coach.  Bobby was a supervisor at Long Beach Water Department. His co workers didn’t think of him as that they thought of him as family and they looked forward to coming to work because of him. He was a Lakewood Youth Sports (LYS) coach for many years for baseball, flag football and basketball. He was also involved with East Long Beach Pony and Greater Bellflower Little League.  He coached many children in the Bellflower, Lakewood and Long Beach area. He touched many lives and left a ever lasting impact on those he touched that we can never forget- his wisdom, his jokes, his ability to believe in you and the kids he has gotten to coach.  If Bobby has touched you in any way please consider donating to Amanda and his kids and keep his family and friends in your prayers while they cope and grief over the tragic loss of their husband and father .
