In Honor of Adam Vue

Donation protected

Our beloved brother, Adam Vue, was born on February 13th, 1994. He was the third child of Dr. Douglas (Vuechuedoua) Vue  and Michelle Maiko Vang-Vue. He is survived by his parents and three siblings: Junior Vue, Nina Vue-Lo, and Wendy Vue-Xiong; along with two brother-in-laws: Chim Lo and Adam Xiong.

Adam enjoyed simple things in life such as: watching Marvel films, playing Magic the Gathering, League of Legends, camping, eating home-cooked meals, volunteering, and spending time with his family and loved ones. To his friends, he was known as a good advice giver due to his intelligence, strong empathy, wisdom, and straight forward honesty. His grandma always referred to him as her handsome grandson.

He graduated from Oak Creek High School in the top 10% of his class in 2012 and was highly active in clubs and sports (track and wrestling). In three years, Adam graduated from UW-Milwaukee with double majors in Political Science and Philosophy. He was accepted to graduate school in 2015 and was due to complete his Master's Degree Program in Education this summer. He worked as a Graduate Assistant at the University of WI-Milwaukee. Although he was never the kind of man to be in the spot light, he was instrumental for many projects in the community. He served in many roles that impacted many lives such as: the President of the Hmong Student Association at UWM, escort chair of the Miss Hmong WI Pageant, member of the Miss Hmong WI Teen Pageant, officer in the United States National Defense Force Support Command, Leader at Ascension Lutheran Church's Youth Ministry team (Camp Hope Youth Program), Director of Hmong Human Rights, Tiger Pack, President of Multicultural Club at Oak Creek High School, member of National High School Honor Society, and so much more.

Despite these accomplishments, he battled with depression and anxiety most of his youth into adulthood. Adam would like everyone to know that he did not pass away because of anyone or anything.

On the evening of Tuesday April 24th, 2018; our beloved brother left us. We found him at the beach with a broken heart where love had shot through--clenched in his hand a picture of him and his lover.

It is in this time of darkness, that we ask for your love and support. All proceeds will go to Adam's funeral service. Any remaining amount will go towards Adam's final request: He would like us to take him on a family vacation and scatter his ashes as far away from here as possible.

The funeral is set for May 12th-13th at the Good Hope Center.
