Impact Cape Town, South Africa

Donation protected
For most of his life Pete found himself chasing after happiness while climbing the corporate ladder, feeling unfulfilled and unclear of his purpose in life.

Sumari was on the other end of the world struggling with pleasing her father and others in order to feel worthy.  She moved to the United States shortly after her father committed suicide in 2011.

Pete and Sumari met each other in 2014 while volunteering together at church.  Later that year, things completely changed when Pete and Sumari attended a 1 year transformative program at their church. It was then that Pete finally found his life’s purpose and Sumari discovered her true worth.

Today, Pete and Sumari, along with their 1 year old daughter, Arielle, seek to share their knowledge and experience by equipping Christian leaders to truly know who they are, find their purpose, and live a life of impact. Together they feel God’s calling on their lives to live out this mission in South Africa, Sumari's home country.

“We are excited to raise up a community of leaders in South Africa as we study the Bible together and teach new leadership skills.  Lives will be transformed through the retreats, coaching, and community outreach to prisons, orphanages, and people in need.

Our vision is to create a movement of thousands of souls on fire who are creating more leaders and bringing hope to the hurting people of Cape Town."

"Three things will last forever - faith, hope, and love - and the greatest of these is love." - 1 Corinthians 13:13

WHY CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA?

Cape Town is struggling with murder, crime, drug abuse, prostitution, alcoholism, gangs, racism, and hatred.

The effects of apartheid, a system of institutionalized racial segregation and discrimination that existed in South Africa between 1948 and 1994, remain clearly visible today.

Cape Town is ranked the 15th most dangerous city in the world based on murder rate according to Business Insider.

On a recent mission trip, a team member of the Witts was robbed and stabbed. However, just 4 days later, love and hope prevailed as the man who was stabbed inspired a whole room of prisoners at Drakenstein Prison by sharing his story and choosing to forgive both the men who hurt him as well as the prisoners for what they had done.

WILL YOU HELP?

We know we can’t do this alone. It will take an army and we invite you to join us.

We are confident we can make a great impact in South Africa, but we need your help to send us.

Will you help and join us in bringing hope and healing to Cape Town, South Africa?
