We're raising money for an epic 6-story mural in Old Strathcona! Here's why:

Art inspires. It widens perspective. It stirs thought. It reminds us that anything is possible and to follow our dreams.

For as long as we’re in business, we will push to contribute to the artistic development of Edmonton. Our latest initiative is the commissioning of a 6 storey mural in Old Strathcona by renowned Spanish artist Okuda San Miguel. His work can been seen in the streets and galleries of some of the most progressive cities in the world.

This is a project that will rely on the support of the community and from those who are passionate about art and who are committed to having the world see us as a creative centre.

Having a project like this in Edmonton will inspire our community and set the stage for future artistic projects. 100% of the money we raise over for this project will be contributed to public art in Edmonton. It starts with the Okuda mural and will continue with the support of various art projects within our city, including the Rust Magic Street Art Festival, and the development of Mural Alley.

Edmonton is a large canvas. It’s time to colour it in.

We have been witness to how generous and supportive the Edmonton community is of the arts, and we are so grateful to be part of it. For every $50 we raise a coloured square will be removed from our home page revealing a new piece of the mural. Help us uncover the image beneath! Check out the progress on our website:

To the first 350 people that make a donation, you will receive a spray paint can used by Okuda San Miguel to make the project come to life!

As a way to say Thank-You, contribution gifts will be offered as follows:

YOU GUYS! The mural is now complete. We have a few celebrations taking place this weekend at Have Mercy & El Cortez as a launch party (Saturday, July 21st - did someone say free concerts?!) We could not have done this without your help - thank you!

In the coming week we will be touching base with everyone from the various donor categories to ensure you receive your thank-you gift. Please keep your eyes peeled for our communication.

Lastly, as we move to process all your generous donations we must make note that Michael Maxxis & Thomas Graham will be closing the campaign and managing the withdrawals into the organization's (Holy Roller) bank account to pay Okuda San Miguel, his team, and any project incidentals.

We are SO grateful for your immense support and are so excited for everyone to enjoy the mural!
