The I Love Music forum was set up in August 2000 by Tom Ewing, who wanted a bulletin board as part of his Freaky Trigger music website but didn't have the space or know-how himself. It's grown to become a huge, wide-ranging music discussion site, and as the name suggests, it's a site for people who love music to talk about it.

By June 2001, the ILM board was also filling up with a lot of non-music talk, and the sister board I Love Everything began. ILE is a site where posters talk about anything they want to -- news, films, food, sex, drink, books, websites and one another are popular topics.

For the last few years, both forums and the many smaller boards that followed in their wake have been hosted in Amazon's cloud hosting. This is expensive, and was funded partly by fund-drives and partly by advertising. The advertising money fountain has dried up, so it's time to move to a new, more sustainable place to live.

This funding drive is to pay the balance of the Amazon bill, and get us set up on a new host -- plus pay for the first 12 months of hosting there.
