HOT WATER TANK and MAIN ELECTRICAL PANEL (Completely Destroyed)

No Water and No Power !!!!

Posted (May 10, 2017)
David & Sonia are residents of a tiny island named lle Mercier (Ile Bizard). They lost everything due to major flooding . The only bridge connecting these home owners off the island has been flooded for weeks. Sonia & Dave have been working tirelessly to help everyone save their home by sacrificing their time, energy and own money to keep things afloat.

Sonia & David have been working day and night, with little or no sleep, helping people save their homes that have been destroyed by rising waters of Rivière des Prairies. Historically, the water levels have reached the highest they ever been.  As tiny island began to flood, they began breaking their backs for a second time by sandbagging the homes of others, as well as their own even when they had none delivered. They have been contributing their time, efforts and what very little savings they had to help save their community. Lots of homes in this area have been washed away and there is nothing left for residents to return too after the evacuation. They were abandoned on the island, by the closure of the bridge. While it seemed that city officials made numerous promises for sandbags, they were not delivered in time. Sonia & Dave, along with their neighbours were left alone to fend for themselves. These generous good hearted individuals HAVE LOST
EVERYTHING !! All their hard work and dedication in the end was not enough to save their home. On May 4, this happy couple would have celebrated 4 years together in this home they made.

We want to help our friends rebuild their lives. They are  still in a state of shock, not knowing if insurance will cover any losses, or damages much less the loss wages, we need support!!! Help Sonia and David as they have others.  THIS IS A STATE OF EMERGENCY, lets do what we can, anything helps.
