Atypical ALS..looking for for a cure

I'm a single mom who has been progressively become weaker and weaker within the last eight yrs. I've been seeking medical attention for the last 4 because the symptoms have gotten worse and included falls and broken bones. I've been referred to the Mayo clinic because my doctors are stumped. My medical expenses are difficult to manage and its affected my daily life along with my ability to work. I'm on disability and have a difficult time covering my bills. I have a small son that I too solely support. There are days when climbing stairs are next to impossible and even lifting a gallon of milk requires effort. I have already incurred bills amounting to 20k in the last yr. I would appreciate all the help and support you are willing to give and pray that they find an answer so I can hope for some recovery.
