Medical Mission - Vietnam

This past year has truly been a blessing and a dream come true. Ever since I was a little kid, I've always dreamed of going to medical school and becoming a doctor. Fast forward many years later, and my first year of medical school at Western University of Health Sciences is quickly coming to an end! The amount of knowledge and insight I've gained this past year is absolutely phenomenal, and now that I've picked up some clinical skills along the way, it's time for me to give back!
In just one month from now, 12 colleagues and I will be embarking on a two-week medical mission to Vietnam in partnership with Aid to Children Without Parents (ACWP) and our university's Global Health Club. While in Vietnam, we will work with local health professionals and physicians to provide for those who need help. We will use our training to provide health screenings, public health and hygiene education, diabetes check-ups, medications, and more!
Although we are putting forth our best efforts to fundraise for this journey, most of the funding for this mission trip is coming out of our own pockets. This is where I need your help! Here's the breakdown that each member is responsible for:
$1,500 - Flight
$500 - Clinic and Medical Supplies
