Local 193 Web Page

On February 13th 2019, Drew Drennan was part of a team repairing a distribution switch gear. Unfortunately Drew came into contact with primary voltage and was severely injured. Drew has committed his life to serving others and has spent the last 4 years working for a municipal power supplier City Water Light and Power and 10 years in the United States Army Reserves where he serves as a Fire Fighter and has spent time overseas in support of the Global War on Terror. Drew is recovering in the Memorial Burn unit in Springfield, Illinois. His employer City Water Light and Power in coordination with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 193 have begun a campaign labeled "Wear Blue for Drew". Drew will have a extremely long road ahead as he continues to recover from severe injuries to his back, face and hands. Drew asks that everyone keep him in their prayers.

The Blue Ribbons maybe purchased through the IBEW with all proceeds being given to Drew.

Lets support Drew like he has supported others.

Below is a picture of the FR Hoodie that Drew was wearing during the accident. The only penetration to the Hoodies interior material is right above the E on the left shoulder. Otherwise the interior of this hoodie remained un-penetrated and limited his upper body injuries.
