Veteran Photographer @ StandingRock

Donation protected
On my return to "Standing Rock" I will continue to photograph the stories of the Indigenous people, their allies and the peaceful protest against the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline. As a 100% disabled Marine Corps Veteran, I am unable to work a conventional job so I dedicate my time to serving others with my God given gift of photography. Along this journey, I've realized that its never about "you or I" and it is much larger than "us".

Everyone seems to want to photograph the skirmishes with law enforcement and DAPL security but what's left out are the stories of humanity, unity, strength, triumph and perserverance. Protests, however,  will happen and people will stand against the unjust and they will stand together.  These are the true stories of the human existance, the peace in which we live and the light that will drive out the darkness. This is what needs to be captured and shared with the world...

Your donations will help with new equipment (much needed as current gear is on its last leg or now defunct... e.g. used/refurbished camera body ($1500.00) , refurbished laptop ($1000.00),  travel/airfare/car rental/lodging for 1-3 nights (electricity/shower/wifi (to upload images))/ and a hot meal or two). My first trip was a little over a week and my goal this time is to stay at least a month (or as long as I am needed).  It is my goal to cover as many stories as possible and share them with the world,  to educate the masses. These are not violent protestors but people who love and care about the enviorment and want its resources to remain for generations to come.
Your support gives me a continued sense of purpose after my military service. I am now serving my country in a different capacity for which I am beyond grateful and humbled. If there are any questions, please feel free to ask. Here are some links that display my previous work...
And again, I thank you immensely!
