I'm 50yrs old help me not become homeless

I've worked hard all my life in jobs that females didn't traditionally do.  I find myself at 50 and without a job in a small town.  I will be homeless if I cannot raise at least $400 ( $350 rent, $20 for electricity ( I unplugged my fridge, hot water heater and stove), $5 for my food (mostly ketchup sandwiches ) and the rest to buy food for my two cats.  I am asking for $1k to give me a cushion of another month in which to find a job in walking distance of my apartment. Seeing as school will start soon, I believe I can find a job in the next two months.  I ask this more for my cats as there is only one shelter in my area and it is a 'kill shelter'.  If I had to become homeless, I would do my best to keep my two cats with me, but cats are not dogs and I am afraid they would get spooked, run and be lost forever.  I m only asking for two more months to land a job, any job.  I'm not picky.  I just want to keep from being homeless and losing my two cats.
