I want to sea the world

I am currently a sophomore in high school with aspirations of adventure and a goal to change the world. I recently came upon a documentary at a local film festival about this independently owned boat that welcomes people aboard to learn about environmental stewardship. I knew from the moment the opportunity presented itself I wanted to be a part of it. I recently got accepted as part of the team and I plan to leave in August. This means I will be taking my junior year independently.

We are traveling to Tonga, Tuvalu, Kiribati (line island), Hawaii, and Alaska. While I’m there I will be helping to protect the Humpback Whales from poachers. I am on the boat till june of 2018 this is a huge opportunity and the first time I will ever be out of the country or away from my family. I will be going into this trip as a 17 year old sophomore but I will come out as an 18 year old pirate.

If this is goes well we can show the youth of world and inspire them to further their love of the environment and grow a generation of environmentally aware youth. This could not only revolutionize education but also environmentalism. Please support me in this project to amend the future of our planet. This is a huge step in education as a whole and I hope to pioneer this new form of learning to cultivate real world experiences first hand
