I need Comfortable Work Shoes
Donation protected
I'm a writer struggling to build up enough residual income through Patreon and other similar to be able to work as an author full-time and do nothing but write. However, I currently need to work a second job to be able to buy food, etc. I just started working at a hotel in the Lake District, and it's awesome. There's only one tiny problem. The dress shoes I own were not comfortable, and by the time I was halfway through my third shift, my feet hurt so badly I could barely think. I also slip all over the place in them.
I desperately need smart, comfortable, slip-resistant work shoes with a decent insole or I'll end up crippling myself (or at the very least screaming "OW! OW! OWW!" very loudly in a customer's face)!
I have no money until my first paycheck next month. All I'm asking for is £75 to buy these shoes and these inserts.
Please. I'm not asking you to pledge to a monthly Patreon subscription (though if you chose to support my writing that would be awesomely epic and amazing), I just need the means to work a second job. That way I can save money for my own place (I currently live with my Grandparents), and invest in self-marketing and possibly even self-publishing.
I will probably start a campaign for that too at some point, but for now, I'm going to try doing it the hard way. Just help me buy better shoes, and my feet and I will be forever grateful. I might even write a story for you.
