I LOVE Dream Child Foundation

Hi, my name is Dionne and this my dream... To care for children that has been abandoned, lived on the streets, orphaned and in need of love and education. My dream came true this year when I came across the Dream Child Foundation in the beautiful country of Ghana. They focus on working with every child in need (currently they have 154 kids under their care) to promote child literacy and practical ways of improving performance in the classroom including providing accommodation, food, education and health care. 

Meet the kids:
Just the average school day! They are so full of energy and eager to learn about the world.

They love playing and just enjoy being children, dressing up and following each other around in the play ground. You would never guess they had a disavantaged past.

Unlike other similar charities, the money you donate goes directly to meeting the children needs and not spent on "administration costs" or other poorly managed costs. For every pound you donate, the children will recieve:

* Bedding
*Food
*Medical Supplies
*Health Checks
*Water and Sanitation Supplies
*Clothing
*Teaching and Learning Materials
*Toys & Games

I am going on the 20th March 2017 for a few weeks and will be blogging my experience with pictures and stories to share with you. Click here . I hope to raise £3,000

Your support shows these children thousands of miles away that you love them, they can dream beyond their poor circumstances, and they are not insignificant. Each pound given shows them love and they can dream big things. Every child desreves that right!
