Kindness for Kathy

My sister was born deaf and through the years that has brought many challenges, least of which is the ability to obtain a decent paying job.  For 25 years she has been a gymnastics teacher and coach and that has taken a toll on her body. She has had knee surgery, back problems and a number of other injuries because she spots and lifts children all day, sometime for 8 hours straight.  She lives paycheck to paycheck and has been living with our elderly parents for 10 years.  She has been trying to save money to get her own place with her two young children.  She is a single mother and her ex-husband has been diagnosed with cancer.  She absolutely lives for her kids more than anyone else I have seen. I am inspired by her every single day.  I would love more than anything to see her be able to live on her own and pay off her mounting debt.  Sometimes she gets home at 8:00 pm and immediately has to put her girls to bed.  She never has time by herself and is the most selfless person. Everything is for her girls! Many of you know of my involvement in various fundraising efforts over the years.  With the help of my family and friends, hundreds of thousands of dollars have been raised for various individuals and organizations, some very near to my heart and others where the need was so strong and compelling that turning away was not an option. So it's very humbling to ask for help for someone in my inner circle.
