I've started raising money for "I am donating my birthday for my nephew Jamesy" - Donate PLEASE.
If everyone on my "friends list" could donate $1 or $5 toward my personal fundraiser for my nephew to help complete this pool project myself and Linda Hasset are working on. When diagnosed with DMD Jamesy is unable to have full use of his muscles in his legs which makes it difficult for him to climb up and down steps. He has special needs for a specific pool kit. We have the labor already donated but need to raise the funds for the material needed.
While Jamesy fights this battle against the muscle wasting, childhood -killer (let those words sink in) disease; Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy! This disease is slowly taking his life from him, my brother, (his dad) and my SIL, Karen... ;((((
Imagine, as a parent , giving birth to a perfectly healthy baby boy to find out at the age of 4 he has a terminal illness.
Then waking up everyday knowing your little boy will not walk across the stage to receive his diploma, drive a car , or even be able to hug you anymore ! then he will lose his life in the next decade as statistics say.
No child in 187 years has survived! We, we all need to make a difference! Please help me raise money for Jamesy wish to be able to have use of a pool in his own backyard! Please we need your help!
My brother , tireless machine of hope, works day and night , literally 24/7 to save his life ! ...
