Growing up as an only child, my mother is my Best Friend. As I hit those teen years, it wasn't always the case, but as an adult I see the "Method in her Madness" and appreciate everything she has done. Now it's time to help her. My mom has always suffered from health issues and has been seeing a Neurologist for over 10 years. What started out as only (however very painful) migraines has now increased to the beginning stages of Dementia.
My Mom is the wonderful person who gave me the foundation to be a good person and she always put herself on the back burner to help others. She has always donated to charities and since I've moved to Texas spent her free time volunteering at homeless shelters. We would pass out backbacks to the homeless when we saw them on the street, filled with supplies such as toiletries, a blanket and non parishables, so they knew someone cared. She is amazing.
Now she is the one in need, a very private person this isn't something she can do on her own. She was involved in a car accident last month and now can not work and will not be able to return to work for the foreseeable future. While my parents aren't togther anymore, they are amicable but my father can not help us because he is currently on dialysis (4 hours a day 3 times a week) and is on the waiting list to receive a kidney transplant back in Missouri and has his own very high medical bills. There is no income in the home and thankfully an aunt of mine was able to help in the begininng but with their own family, she cannot carry the buden alone.
Now while all of this happening I wastrying to start my own family, I ended up losing my job (that I thought was secure) due to low customer volume and the stress caused me to be admitted to the emergency room. A sharp stabbing pain in my lower abdomen/pelvic region ended up being revealed by CAT scan as 4 Very Large Overian Cysts. Forturnately for me the rupture of the cysts was non leathal. Though I am now currently working again, I have a very hefty medical bill for myself ( no health insurance), and cannot keep up the bills from this and taking care of my mother.
The stress has taken its toll on my mother, her smile is gone. She continues to pray daily however this has now put her in a state of clinical depression. This is a very urgent situation for us and though the bills are much more than what were asking for, we need as much help as we can get. I don't feel comfortable asking for this amount, but my back is against the wall. This money will help put a dent in the medical bills and help us catch up with the regular household bills. Anything starting from spare change will help us. Those who aren't able but know someone who can, present this to them and you can send positive vibes and thoughts our way.
