Hyman Family Medical Expenses Fund

Donation protected
As you may be aware, this has been an extremely difficult time for Rob Hyman and his family. In July of this year, his 4-year-old daughter, Cameron, was diagnosed with Sanfilippo Syndrome, a rare genetic disease which causes sugar molecules to build up in different parts of the body, ultimately causing severe health problems. Within the same week of learning this devastating news about Cameron, the Hyman family received news that Christina, Rob's wife, was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer.  While Christina is being treated at Memorial Sloan Kettering, Rob will be forced to take a leave of absence to travel with Cameron to a clinical trial in a distant location, to undergo a treatment which will hopefully delay or eventually cure the effects of the disease.

We are looking to raise as much money as possible in the next few days help offset some of their medical costs as well as costs associated with being away from home for Cameron’s clinical trial.

We would appreciate anything you can give - no donation is too small.

Thank you very much in advance. Rob has been part of the Northern Valley community for some time now, having worked hard to make an impact on our children’s lives. In these most difficult of circumstances, this is an opportunity for the community to provide the Hyman family not only financial support, but emotional support as well.
