Monacan Indian Children's Christmas

Like so many Native American communities, life can be hard. for families of the Monacan Indian Nation.  In the best of times There are families who struggle to put food on the table. Many have to choose between medicine or heat for their homes.  And tjen there is Christmas; a time when children who dp not understand the struggle still believe in the magic but are often disappointed. 

In 2014 the Monacan Nataion provided for pver150 children in this community.  Each child  received a new outfit and a toy thanks to the generosity of the Monacan people,  churches. and friends of the Monacan Indian Nation.  In 2013, the number of children whoreceived was128. The need grpwsevery yearand that is why we need your help. 

 Without our help, many Monacan children won't have a Christmas this year.
