4 Friends 4 Puerto Rico Recovery

We are now 5 friends going to Puerto Rico April 15 - April 24, 2018 to assist with recovery efforts, help rebuild farms, and distribute needed supplies including solar cell phone chargers, bandages, insect repellents, asthma inhalers etc.
As volunteers, we are covering our costs of airfare, accommodations, and meals.
Puerto Rico IS STILL in a state of devastation
* 1.2 million people remain without power
* A widespread shortage of utility poles means PR will continue to wait for the return of electricity to homes, businesses, and schools.
* Lack of running water and reliable communication remain central challenges.
Please support us as we partner with Fondo de Resiliencia , an amazing organization working to rebuild 200 farms in 24 months.
Fondo deResiliencia is sponsored by the Americas for Conservation & The Arts, 501 (C) 3.
In addition to stabilizing food production, which is an urgent need, Fondo deResiliencia is fostering sustainable agriculture practices, replanting forests with native species, supporting health and wellness, and utilizing ecological practices such as rainwater collection and clean solar energy. Their goal: “Stronger than before.”

•La Casa de Todos , a woman’s shelter and orphanage severly damaged by the storm,
•Urbe Apie, a community garden/soup kitchen/healing arts center in Caguas providing no-cost services,
