Hurricane Harvey- Help Re-build!

Donation protected
As many of you know Hurricane Harvey hit Texas hard, displacing families and destroying homes and businesses in its path.

WHAT: Dress for Success Uniforms was completely destroyed by flood waters from Hurricane Harvey.  This business is owned and operated by my sister-in-law.  It was a family owned and operated business, that the owner put her blood, sweat, and tears into starting.  The insurance claim has been denied and now the Gulash family livelihood is gone!

WHY: The owner of the business Michelle Gulash, put everything she had into starting this business.  All her money (she cashed in her 401k to pay for inventory) and all her time (working 80+ hours a week).  Michelle has two children ages 4 and 2 years old.  She would spend her days giving her time and energy to her children and would spend her nights (often until the early morning) working on the store herself- unpacking boxes, painting, moving heavy fixtures, making signs, inputting inventory, etc. All so she could live her dream of owning her own business and provide for her family.  Additionaly, Dress for Success Uniforms store gave deep discounts to those in need and donated a percentage of its profits to local schools.  The Gulash family was and is commited to helping others and the community they lived in.  Which is why I am starting this Fund to help them in their time of need.

ABOUT ME:  The owner of Dress for Success Uniforms is my sister-in-law.  I've seen how much work and passion she put into starting this business.  Her husband was part of the I've also seen what a great mother she is to my niece and nephew and how she sacrificed to provide for them.  Additonally, my sister-in-law Michelle has a charitable heart: I saw her give discounts on merchandise to those in need and  give a portion of her profits to local schools.  Her husband was part of the rescue team in the La Grange Texas area saving people that were trapped in the flood from Hurricane Harvey.

These reasons have prompted me to return the charity to her.  Because she does not have insurance the funds will be spent to clean-up the mess left behind and pay back the vendors for the damaged merchandise.  The idea isn't to just re-coup losses but to re-build from the damage.
