Hurricane Harvey Homeless Outreach

As a homeless advocate in Houston over 6 years, I am eager to get boots on the ground to help those most vulnerable as Houston recovers.
Houston's homeless were forced to leave ALL their possessions and seek shelter. There are also homeless who stayed in the elements but lost everything due to flooding.
Once our homeless are back out on the streets, they'll have nothing buy the clothes on their back.
This is going to be a massive effort to bring some level of comfort.
While many organizations are working to help those who have homes, very few are setting up to help our homeless.
By donation we're asking for:
Clothes
Shoes
Tarps
Socks
Underwear
Hygiene products
Blankets/sheets
Tents (donated ONLY)
Snack foods & sack lunches
Water
Dog food
And much, much more!

We can purchase the little items like socks, underwear, hygiene products, etc... but we cannot purchase clothes & shoes. The cost would be too great so if you can donate clothing, shoes, tents, tarp, blankets & sheets, please email me at: [email redacted]. Feel free to email me if you want to volunteer.

We will need funding to purchase dry clean items like socks, underwear, bras, etc, which will be personally purchased and handed to our homeless friends at homeless camps in the area with monies donated.
